The Apostle Paul made this great claim, "For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!" (1 Cor. 9:16).
Though I am certainly no Apostle Paul, I would be thoroughly honoured should the Lord see fit to bless me with such an heart toward Him and His efficacious Word. I enjoy preaching the gospel week by week to the faithful members of Hope Christian Church. I also spend much time in short term missions work and conducting Pastor's training seminars around the developing world. As a church we conduct mission trips several times a year visiting such places as Thailand, The Philippines, Cambodia, Burma, Malaysia, The Solomon Islands, Taiwan, as well as ministry trips to the USA and other parts of the western world. In the 'Pastor's Notes' section of this website you can find more information about our mission adventures and what kind of activities we are involved in. I am born and bred Australian and love to read and study theology, biography and church history. I am currently enrolled at Charles Sturt University studying Theology. I find the reformation era of church history of special interest as well as the Puritans. Their writings have been a wealth of inspiration and instruction for me. I have also enjoyed reading Jonathan Edwards and Charles Spurgeon. When it comes to biography, Missionary biographies have always been the sweetest for me; reading about the lives of Adoniram Judson, Hudson Taylor, George Leslie Mackay and Jonathan Goforth, C.T.
